I grew up in South Korea, where I saw firsthand the talent, dedication, and resilience of Korean professionals.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 2008, I experienced how economic uncertainty can shape a career. With just $400 in my pocket, I moved to New York to start a new chapter, learning firsthand what it means to build a life and career from the ground up.

Over the years, I worked at both a boutique recruiting firm and a global recruiting company, Adecco USA. In 2019, I founded DHD Consulting, bringing together my background in psychology, social work, and more than a decade of recruiting and cross-cultural business experience.

Working closely with both Korean and American companies, I recognized a gap between the two markets—but I also saw tremendous opportunity. Exceptional talent often struggled to find the right opportunities, while companies found it difficult to navigate cultural and hiring differences.

DHD Consulting was founded to bridge that gap through trust, understanding, and lasting partnerships. Today, we help companies build stronger teams while helping professionals build meaningful careers across cultures.
